Hi, I’m Julia. A full-time mum, part-time freelance creative and some-time sleep enthusiast.

I've spent over 15 years swinging back and forth from PR to advertising… just to find the line between industries blurring more and more. I specialise in using creativity to transform non-existent media spends into glimmering real-life conversations. I also is a great writer.

My work has spanned every media platform and product category; burgers, cars, tampons - you name it, I’ve been briefed on it. Still waiting on some innovation in the burger-scented, car-shaped tampon space though. Fingers crossed!

My time spent in creative agencies has taught me a thing or two, usually the hard way, but to distill it:

​1. Clients shouldn’t be feared. At the end of the day they too go home, take off their bras and lurk around on dubious Instagram accounts.

​

2. If you always push for the best idea, eventually one will get up.

​

3. Be yourself, unless yourself is a douchebag.

​

4. Never trust a public toilet with the lid down. I can't emphasise this enough.

​

On an average day you’ll find me defusing tantrums, fixing impossible problems and deciphering intelligible babble. On the other days you’ll find me at home with my spawn.
