EVER WONDERED,"WHERE THE
HELL ARE ALL THE SENIOR WOMEN IN CREATIVE DEPARTMENTS?"
A campaign to help retain female creative talent in our industry.
MIA (Mums In Ads)
The Part-Time Pitch
With 77% of all women being mothers, and almost 70% of part-time workers being women - the fact that 0% of industry job roles were being advertised as part-time seemed a glaringly obvious reason that women were starting to leave advertising in droves at around age 35, as current industry data was showing.

The Part-Time Pitch was a multi-pronged campaign that publicly petitioned the advertising industry to implement a simple policy change in order to help retain women throughout their career and into senior leadership: advertise all job vacancies as full-time/part-time negotiable.
At the end of the campaign, we recruited 81 companies within Australia’s ad industry orbit to commit to this part-time shift - leaving doors open for part-time working women (and men) for better flexibility and career progression.
